Centre for Hypersonics

  1. Once you have given your talk, you will be moved to the bottom of the list.
  2. If you are new to the group, send the custodian an email and you will be placed about one-third of the way down the list and you will be added to the mailing list.
  3. From time-to-time, a visitor may be scheduled into the list at short notice. This will delay the schedule for those below on the list. Therefore, check the list to see when you are scheduled and if that has changed.
  4. If you are likely to be unable to give your talk at the scheduled time, it is up to you to find someone elsewhere on the list with whom to swap - do not ask the custodian to arrange this for you. When you have made the arrangements, email the custodian for the amendment to the list to be made.
  5. If you have a fixed date on which you need to make your presentation (e.g. for a confirmation seminar or a practice run for a conference presentation), email the custodian at least several weeks in advance. This date will then be locked in and others on the list will be moved around if a visitor is scheduled prior to the date.
  6. The talks are not meant to require much preparation time; they are to present to the group what you are currently working on.

The seminar schedule is maintained with as little input as possible from the Custodian, currently David Gildfind.
